Welcome

Welcome to the Home-Page of the Adelaide Bellringers.

We are the volunteers who ring the bells in Adelaide's 5 Bell-Towers.
The bells are rung in the English change-ringing style and weigh from 200kg up to 2000kg. We ring them for church services, weddings and civic events, as well as having regular practice sessions during the week.

2024 ANZAB AGM and Festival

From Friday June 7th to Monday Jun 10th the Adelaide Bellringers are hosting the ANZAB Annual General Meeting and associate Bellringing Festival, with many visiting bellringers from around Australia and overseas.
As part of this Festival there will be some extra ringing in four of Adelaide's belltowers, being: As well as the usual ringing for Sunday services there will also be extra ringing on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and evening, Sunday afternoon and Monday.
The ringing will mostly consist of batches of ringing with breaks in between (similar to regular bellringing practices) as the ANZAB members from around the country ring on Adelaide’s distinctive and delightful bells and take the opportunity to ring with fellow members from other states.
